Brajeshwari Temple
This is one of the most famous temples of Kangra Valley. This temple is in a unique tradition of goddess worship. It is a tradition that every year during the festival of Lohri, the Pindi of the goddess is decorated with a layer of butter. It is believed that in ancient times, the goddess had used butter to heal the wound he received during his battle with the demon Mahishasura. The view of the scenery pindi attracts thousands of pilgrims from near and far. Although the exact date of construction of this temple is not known, but in the early 11 th century the popularity of this temple had peaked. why Mohammed Ghazni invaded Kangra and looted the temple in 1009 years. Later in the year 1360 the Sultan Feroze Tughlaq damaged the structure and the earthquake of 1905, this temple was completely destroyed. Finally, the process of rebuilding the temple was completed in 1925.
